Child & Family Canada - a unique Canadian public education website. Fifty Canadian non-profit organizations have come together under the banner of Child & Family Canada to provide quality, credible resources on children and families on an easy-to-navigate website. The managing partner of the consortium is the Canadian Child Care Federation.

LangCanada - An abundance of educational resources, educational materials, training organizations and information that enhances second official language teaching and learning in Canada. Second language teachers can search for professional development courses to enhance their careers, or learn about various workshops and education-related associations.

La Fondation Paul Gérin-Lajoie conducts an annual La Dictée P.G.L. for Francophone and French immersion students from across the country. This year’s theme is “The Child” and the goals of the Dictée are to encourage sharing and solidarity with developing countries while encouraging an appreciation of the French language in children. The Dictée also raises money for education programs in French-speaking Africa and Haïti.

Culture.ca - Culture.ca aims to engage Canadians in cultural life, to educate and entertain Web surfers with the stories of many peoples, and to provide access to the best of Canadian culture on-line.

Summer Work - Student Exchange - The YMCA is pleased to announce that effective February 2007 it is providing leadership to the Summer Work Student Exchange program. Provides 16 and 17-year-old students with the opportunity to travel to another part of Canada for 6 weeks in the summer where they have a full-time job, exciting weekend activities and speak in their second official language for the duration of the exchange. The program is absolutely free for participants. Students from Anglophone provinces travel to Quebec and New Brunswick to speak French, and vice versa. The program was started by Members of Parliament and 2007 marks the 12th edition of the program.
